VCARS - making used cars easy

Since 1999 VCARS have made selling and buying used cars easy by sticking to a simply philosophy - get people to the site, find them what they want, track what they do.

VCARS have over 2000 dealers stock listed on their network - that's over 100,000 vehicles from all makes from most of the major dealer groups and independent dealers nationwide.

One of the key factors of the success of VCARS has been it's investment in measurement to enable it to show clients exactly what is happening to the stock being displayed.

Paul Davis, Sales Director of VCARS explains - "The old phrase, I know half my advertising spend is wasted, I just don't know which half, springs to mind. We wanted to show that we are in the half that isn't wasted! That's why we invest so heavily in our Performance Tracker".

The VCARS Performance Tracker is the most advanced available, allowing dealers to see which cars are being searched, where customers printing directions are coming from (displayed on a map), which car details are printed, email enquiries and telephone enquiries (where VCARS supply a unique 0845 number).

Davis adds "One reason that customers recommend us is that they like the fact that they can see exactly what's going on with their stock. Our VCARS Performance Tracker allows dealers work out a cost per enquiry that makes some of their other marketing activity look very expensive in comparison to us".

VCARS are actively trying to engage with customers at the earliest stage of their on-line search, and take the buyer to the dealers stock. And while they are doing this they are tracking what the user is doing.

With further enhancements never far away, VCARS is ensuring the growth experienced in the first 9 years continues apace.
